3D Modeled Shoes
While I have experience with other 3D modeling softwares such as SolidWorks and Autodesk Fusion 360, I had never delved into modeling organic shapes, creating procedural textures, and animation. What you see here was all made in Blender and was self-taught over the course of two years. Most recent projects are at the top of this page, excluding the gif to the left.
Background:
Shoes can be manufactured based off of a 2D orthographic image, but I decided to try 3D modeling them for a few reasons:
Create base models for best-selling styles so you can drag and drop materials on UV-unwrapped shoes instantly using image textures with normal maps
Create product reveal animations and other promotional renderings or animations
